What we collect.
What we don’t.

Last updated: 22 April 2026

KicksIndia is an email alerts service run out of India. This page lays out exactly what we do with the email address you hand us. No legalese padding, no 4,000-word clickthrough.

What we collect

What we don’t do

What we do measure (privately, on our own server)

We count which pages on this site are being read so we know whether to keep writing them. Each pageview sends one tiny ping to our own server with the page path (e.g. /alerts/jordan-india/) and, if your browser offers one, the referring hostname (e.g. google.com). That’s it.

If you’d rather opt out, any standard browser-level tracker blocker (uBlock Origin, Brave Shields, Firefox ETP on Strict, Safari’s Prevent Cross-Site Tracking) will block the ping; the site still works without it.

Deliverability + payments

When paid subscriptions open we’ll use Razorpay for billing and a transactional email provider (e.g. Postmark or Resend) to send the alerts. Both will see your email in the course of delivering the service; neither is used for marketing. We’ll update this page with the confirmed provider list the day subscriptions open.

Unsubscribe + deletion

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. If you want your record deleted outright (not just unsubscribed), email [email protected] from the address on file and we’ll wipe it within 7 days.

DPDP Act (India)

KicksIndia acts as the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described above. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Requests go to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we meaningfully change what we collect or how we use it, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and email everyone on the waitlist/subscriber list with a plain summary of what changed.
